I’m Sushanth — an IT professional and motorcycle enthusiast. Over the years, I’ve ridden solo and in groups across many routes in India. Like every passionate rider, I geared up with the best helmets, jackets, and boots. But all the protection in the world couldn’t prepare us for the moments that truly tested us, serious crashes where riders bled heavily, and there was nothing we could do but wait.
We were always geared up from head to toe and yet, in serious accidents, gear alone wasn’t enough. I’ve seen riders suffer massive blood loss even before help could arrive. In India, ambulances can take 15–30 minutes to reach the scene. But heavy bleeding can take a life in just 3-4 mins.
While researching emergency care, I came across military medics using combat grade tools to stop bleeding instantly in the harshest environments. Tools like tourniquets, hemostatic gauze, and compression bandages. These weren’t available to the everyday rider and I couldn’t understand why.
If they can save lives in war zones, why not on roads?
That’s when I created MotoresQ — India’s first purpose built trauma kit brand for motorcyclists, commuters, and travelers.
